THE VACATION FINALLY BEGINS IN ARUBA!

Click to stop music

We stayed at "The Mill". It was Decent, had 2 good pools and nice grounds. The beach was at the Westin across the street though. It was very windy so I'm not sure I would have wanted to be right on the sand anyway.

I think Terry was VERY happy to see me, EVEN IF IT was 3 days late. After all I still had his CONTRACT of PASSAGE!

There was WILDLIFE near the pool

AND EVEN WILDER LIFE ON THE KUKOO KUNUKU BUS!!!!!!!!!

Naturally it was a lineup of the "Repeat Offenders" and the usual suspects. The Cabanaboyz and a few of their "groupies were there to get the party started.

We were issued Maracas, turned up the music and started with a champagne toast to the sunset at the California Lighthouse.

Next we went to the the old governors mansion for a dinner of chicken, fish and rice.
As you can see here, alcohol was NOT involved.
OK, well maybe I did have ONE...
ALL RIGHT!.... dozen.... But I couldn't risk dehydration, could I?

This is Gerla, our "Tour Guide"..... Or maybe Handler would be a better term. They have a strange way of splitting the wishbone for luck here. Must be a Dutch thing.

Let the bar-hopping commence!
Later in the evening people started turning "Polish".

It started going downhill from there FAST!

Next afternoon was the Pre-Boarding Cattle Call.
Some of us KNEW which ship was going to have the better party, and WE weren't on it. So we attempted a "prisoner exchange" with the Polynesia.

Sorry we failed Hondo, but I think you'll be fine.

Nevis was NOT amused.

If I learned any one thing on this long strange trip, it was THIS!
