I think they ALL drive like this around here.

We passed a small parade in town.

THE ZIPPERHEADS!
They must have had 10 dogs around this place. Most were not interested and stayed away. That is until the food came out.

This spring was fed from just up the mountain and piped to come out of this log.

We had some Austrians with us, so we let them test the gear before we practiced.

Our first ascent into the Canopy. They are unique as it is on the edge of the national forest, and need special permits. Other ziplines cut through the trees for clearances. But there were some places that the line had to be slack enough to miss the limbs.

Yes, I became a victim of "shrinkage".
IT'S A LONG WAY TO THE BOTTOM HERE COACH!
So we just gotta zip over there, huh?
Piece of Empeņada!
Well Yvonne's got no trouble as long as she's facing forward!

Stand back! Here comes ROB!
Whoops! A little too much brakes.
Note how this cable is actually going through the branches of the trees. Our weight pulls it down just far enough to clear them.

Speaking of weight, Here comes Terry. Look how much stress is on the zipline NOW!

NO, no, no Yvonne.... You're supposed to arrive facing FORWARD!

Yeah, pretty soon it'll be "LOOK MOM,
NO HANDS"
The forest is very lush, athough quite dark under the trees. There were relatively few flowers, but Bromeliads were everywhere.

This is an example of how warped a tree can become, and how warped..... OH Never mind!

We're all getting the"hang of it" now

At the end of the trip our last zipline went down into a chasm.

This was our guide taking off on this final longest, steepest and fastest line.
However, when I went, This was all I could see. But I could hear screaming very close to my ears. Maybe it was HOWLER MONKEYS?

SEE! WHAT DID I TELL YOU?
DAMN KIDS!
