2007 is starting out to be a good year!

Just waitin' to see what kinda fun we're gonna have NEXT!
January at Inverness

I wonder what's behind those eyes? A nice dinner at the Tides restaurant in Bodega bay after a day of walking on the beach with Poly and watching for whales in Jan.
Then sippin' champagne at sunset! How good does it get?

On the Long Island Beach Boardwalk Mar 16th

Magical isn't it?
I learned why New Yorkers ALWAYS have gloves and a scarf in the winter!
This was on the way back to Sallyland where we warmed up and REALLY got cooking.

Overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge after seeing the fascinating "Bodies the Exhibition".
After dinner and drinks, an hour in Penn Station on St Patricks day was interesting as well. Sort of like being inside an ANT FARM.
Next a trip up to Montauk Lighthouse

It was cold, and windy here too, but no blowing snow or sleet. We managed to keep warm though.
Hiking at Hither Hills was pretty cool, but without the leaves on the trees it was a bit stark. It was worth it not to have any ticks though.
Scallop Dinner at The Crow's Nest

I can't understand why is such a pretty girl is hanging out with me?
BUT I LIKE IT!!!!
SUNRISE OVER "THE END"
A great steak dinner with a hot goat cheese appetizer as well as a Prawn Bloody Mary Cocktail at Minnesota's near Sallyland! YUM-OH!

Due to the stress of my missed flight and lost passport,
My brief visit in May was not as fun as We could have hoped.

But we'll make up for it next time.

OLD TOWNE SACRAMENTO IN JULY.....

A few days living on the topdeck of the fantail of the Delta King Riverboat!

The Big wheel of Life just keeps on turnin'

Our Stateroom! Windjammer, it ain't!
How about if we step outside onto our private deck for a little Champagne sweetie?

While we watch the action "rollin' on the river around us.

Our sister ship, the Delta Queen

There's ALWAYS something yummy here!
And she's sitting next to ME!

But stay toooo long and it can be MURDER!!!!

Not if you got the "LEGS" for it though!

We left the Sacramento River for Lake Berryessa. Although it was fairly crowded, I took us to a secluded cove I remembered from my High School daze. We escaped the heat with a soothing swim in private.

All eyes were on us though!

Our wonderful weekend which I consider to be one of the BEST we've ever had, was made complete with dinner at "Ralph Lagasse's".

Beets, Orange and Goat cheese Salad
2003 Villa Mt. Eden Reserve Cab.
Medium Rare Ribeye Steak
3 Cheese Gratin Potatoes
Home Made Kahlua-Chocolate Ice Cream
It was good, but the real dessert came in the the sweet kisses that followed.

A TRIP TO THE POCONOS OVER LABOR DAY.

It began with a co-op culinary caper on a wonderful Scallop dish at home.

On the 2nd night, we had another DELICIOUS Seafood dinner of fresh Maine Lobster. This time it was at The Beach Hut.

Then star gazing on the beach. I placed Sally on the pedestal where my mind sees her. We were bathed in the romantic beams of the full moon over us....

Next Afternoon was a beach day, sunbathing on the warm sand and swimming in the cool Atlantic ocean.

The happiest guy on the beach!
Out on the road again.....

Getting over the Bridge was tough, but traffic got better once we left the city.

As always the Pocono Mountain area is beautiful,

but it all pales in comparison to Sally!
Next we start taking the "CHALLENGES"!

Nicci and Dominic were 1st time raftmates.

About half way down, We stopped for lunch and a brief dip in the river. We had to dodge the other boats though.

We made it with only 2 "swimmers", and I voluntarily jumped in to save our weapon!

Which is the prettiest flower here? Maybe I'm a bit biased.

Hawk falls was hard to find,

But it was well worth the search. After a short hike we were blessed with a peaceful, serene, spot under these lovely falls. Too bad it was such a popular spot, as visitors kept interupting our solitude. This trip was so wonderful that I finally reached a comfort zone where the power of love completely overwhelmed me!
Next up was the Bike Challenge

It was a nice flat 15 mile trail that we leisurely peddled our asses down.

Gorgeous days, wonderful scenery, and hearts full of joy,

How much more could we wish for than to just hold each other close?

The Beach, The Sunset, The happy couple! Now that's LIVING the good life!

You can't see it, but there are glasses of Champagne in our hands too.
ORLANDO FLORIDA IN OCTOBER!
Sally with Gilligan at Epcot Center,

Waiting for the spectacular FIREWORKS show.

Naturally we had to go to Canada to Salute our friend Terry Browne.|----->>

Next a bit of time travel with Queen Sally and one of the Knights who say NEE.....

The Dinner show at Medieval Times was a HOOT!
The pageantry and knighthood was incredibly well done.

Of course unlimited drinks didn't hurt either.
RED AND YELLOW!!!!!!

RED AND YELLOW!!!!!!
RED AND YELLOW!!!!!!
He Jousted well, and kicked ass for a long time until the Blue knight played some dirty tricks.

Back in New York, we had our own fireworks.

I see a lovely pattern of joyous times with the girl that means so much to me now. To just be able to hold her and see the look in her eyes makes my heart soar.

COSTA RICA IN NOVEMBER
Windjammer failed to sail the Legacy, so we did a land tour.

Here in Sarchi they make nearly all the local souvenirs for the entire country. We stopped here on the way to the Arenal volcano.

We were treated to an unobstructed view of the Volcano when we were at the Skytram/Zipline. This RARE event lasted about 30 minutes.
Poas Volcano was more normal, and was only a sea of gray clouds.
Our guide Danny took this one of us on the beach inside Manuel Antonio national park. It reminds me of our 1st photo together at Saline Beach on St. Barth's.
