Congratulations to our team at Berkley! The 2001 algorithm was right on the numbers!
Consumption calculations have been already begun for the 2002 NCAR.
This year's added variances were split between the addition of John,
and the "mooch factor". The "mooch factor" is the beer that is given to
you by your friends, and people who hope this will be enough to make
you go away and leave them alone. We came back 1 day short with only 2 cases left!
In light of the variable conditions in Reno, there is always be some
uncertainty about predicted temperature, relative humidity. Of course
the density altitude is a factor too. This was evidenced by supply
overages in 1996 when annual consumption was down 15% due to:
Dennis... or Brian Sanders Forgot to bring the Bristol Centauris again this Year.
Dreadnaught put on a good show until it broke. It's funny, fly a mustang ½ hour, and you
open the valve covers as soon as you get to the pits. You fly a Sea Fury, go open a beer.
It is always a such suprise when a Round engine blows, that they don't carry spares!
Good luck in 2002!
Riff Raff Was introduced at the training seminars in July 98. The pilot was astronaut Hoot Gibson. Although he flew formula planes before, he did quite well for his first year in an unlimited, and is continuing to move up.
These are for "LARRY THE QUIET" who is holding the sign. He USUALLY sits in front of us. I thought I was safe, but he unexpectedly moved for this photo. Click each photo to load to your media player, then play it a second time for the full effect (1.4 mb, but worth it!)!
