In July 1998 Tom Dwelle had repaired the hole in the tail, replaced the damaged cowling,
and has a new motor built by Precision. However, They never
showed up in Reno for the 1998 races! He is scheduled to PILOT Critical Mass
in 1999 with many more modifications to the airframe as well as the engine.
I thought he was banned for life 2 years ago?
Maybe it is in dog years. The team came back for the 2000, and made it to the Gold though.
