The Island of Anguilla
This is the "WET landing area.
One week it was simply stepping off in a foot of calm water. The following week
It was so rough they couldn't bring the launches in close enough. Many
people were surprised to get off in 6 deep water. Good bar and food
at Roy's on the beach. Nice Parrot too, if he likes you.
There is a nice cove with a small beach on the other side of this hill.
Great snorkeling, but NO facilities. It is about 1.5 miles over the hill,
and then a rope climb down a cliff. After I did that, I found out you
can take a launch from Roy's for $10.
Most people take the bus over to the other side of the island
to Shoal Beach. There is surf over there and a beautiful Sugar white sand beach.
For food go to the Barbecue place down the beach from the bus stop. It is where
the other restaraunts buy the food they sell to YOU.
